Dean Velzke

Dean Velzke joined the Owatonna Foundation in 2018. He currently serves on the Fundraising and Public Relations Committee. Dean works for Ameriprise Financial as a ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) and has worked in the Financial Services Industry for the past 25 years where he has been recognized in the Ameriprise Circle of Success several years and the Ameriprise Diamond Ring Club in 2011. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association ."I truly enjoy the endless challenges, opportunities, and learnings the industry offers and the opportunity to help our clients achieve their personal goals."

 

He is active in the community and currently serves on the Catholic Education Memorial Foundation (CEMF) and has served as Chair of St. Mary’s School Board and Economic Development Committee (EDA). He has also served on the Board of the Owatonna Arts Center, Young Life, and St. Mary’s Knight of Knights Committees. Dean enjoys spending time with our family and friends, watching all Minnesota sports teams, biking, racquetball an occasional round of golf, live music, theater and working in the yard.
