Chadwick Lange

Chad Lange was born and raised in Owatonna, MN and is the current Chair of the Nominating Committee for the Owatonna Foundation. He has served as a Trustee on the Board since 1987. He graduated from UW-Madison with a B.S. in Food Industry in 1960 and held different titles at the Owatonna Canning Company until he became President from 1981-1996. He is currently the President of Festal Farms Company. Chad has held many titles throughout his career the Industry Associations including President of MN Food Processors Association, Director of National Food Processors Association, Director of Midwest Food Processors Association, and President of Midwest Foo Processors. He has also served on many boards including the United Way of Steele County, Director of the Community Board of Wells Fargo, Director of Owatonna Rotary, Director of Owatonna Chamber of Commerce, Director of Music, and he served as President of the Owatonna Foundation from 2001-2005.

 

He has also served on with many clubs that he takes a personal interest in such at the Owatonna Rotary Club, Owatonna Country Club, Trinity Lutheran Church, Lake Francis Association, The Elks, the Eagles, the University of WI Alumni Association, and Theta Chi Fraternity. He has volunteered to coach Pee wee Hockey and was a Trustee on the Dam Preservation Corporation.

 

His hobbies include downhill skiing, reading, and puttering. He is married to his wife Karen and they have a daughter Laura and a son Chadwick Jr and three granddaughters.
