Robert Heers

Bob Heers has been a trustee since 2013 and currently serves on the scholarship committee. Bob is a lifelong resident of Steele county having graduated from OHS in 1976. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Waseca with an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Agronomy in 1978 Bob farmed in partnership with his father until his retirement in 1994.

 

Bob continues to farm in partnership with his 2 sons, Matthew and Nathan. Bob has served and continues to serve on several other boards in the Owatonna community. In 1993 Bob was named the Owatonna Jaycee Outstanding Young Farmer and in 2010 they were awarded the Steele County Farm Family of the Year through the University of Minnesota Extension. Married for over 40 years Bob and Marsha enjoy traveling with friends, spending time at their lake home in Wisconsin and of course spoiling their 3 grandchildren.
