Ray Stawarz

Ray Stawarz has served on the Board of the Owatonna Foundation since 2007. He currently serves on the Investment and Finance Committee. Ray received his BBA from University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL and passed the CPA exam in 1967. He also served in the Illinois National Guard 1964 – 1970.

 

In 1975 admitted to partnership of PMM and transferred to St. Paul, MN. 1975 to 1981 PMM St Paul. From 1981-1984 partner in Adrian Helgeson CPA’s Minneapolis. Ray worked at Federated Insurance Companies in Owatonna MN from 1984 – 2008. He retired after 23 ½ years as Senior VP and Director of Accounting.

 

Ray and his wife Helen have two children Karen and John.. Karen is a Vice President at United Healthcare who lives in Eagan MN.  John and his wife Natalie live in Syracuse NY and John is working at Syracuse University. Ray and Helen have been married over 50 years and have four grandchildren ages 6 to 17. Ray continues to be involved with the Owatonna Rotary Club and enjoys traveling, fishing, gardening, and golf.
