David Einhaus
Dave Einhaus has served on the Owatonna Foundation Board of Trustee since 2003. He served as the Board President from 2011 to 2016 and has served as the Chair of the Grants Committee since 2016. Dave received his Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 1978 and began the practice of law in Owatonna in 1979. He was admitted to partnership with the law firm of Nelson, Casey, Tripp & Dow, P.A. in 1982. Dave has practiced law continuously with the firm now known as Einhaus, Mattison, Carver & Haberman, P.A.
His law practice evolved from civil litigation in the early years to business, real estate and estate planning in his later years. He has served as Examiner of Titles for Steele County for over 25 years. During his time practicing law in Owatonna, Dave has been involved with numerous community volunteer activities.
Dave has been married to Jean for over forty years and together they have raised two sons. They are proud grandparents of two boys and a girl. Dave will be retiring from the active practice of law in early 2022 and hopes to spend more time in his woodshop and more time travelling with Jean.
