William Beer

Bill Beer is the retired President and Chief Executive Officer of the Wenger Corporation. Previously, he spent 31 years serving in various Executive positions in Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Engineering and as President of Maytag Appliances. He has been very involved in community service including United Way of Steel County Board, Riverland Community College Board of Advisors, Minnesota Business Partnership, Leadership Owatonna, numerous Church Boards…etc.

 

He has served on several public and private Corporate Boards and currently sits on the Boards of Balon Corporation, Liberty Diversified International, The Village Company and Apex International.

 

Bill has been married to his wife Anne for 49 years and together they have raised two children (Matt and Megan), their spouses (Chris and David) and three grandchildren (Adam, Will and Kate). Bill has served as a Trustee on the Owatonna Foundation for more than 15 years.
